NordicTrack FreeStride Trainers Review

NordicTrack FreeStride Trainers add variety to a workout by combining the functions of a stepper, an elliptical, and a treadmill, in one machine

The NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer

The NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer effectively combines the benefits of three different exercise machines, namely the stepper, elliptical, and treadmill.

Using the trainer in the stepper mode allows the user to focus on their lower body, including some of the back muscles which may not receive any benefit from just walking or running. The FreeStride trainer allows the user to adopt a more upright stride and the user will be able to exercise their calves, glutes, and thighs.

In elliptical mode, the trainer allows the user to enjoy a virtually zero-impact experience with minimal stress on their joints while still engaging in serious aerobic exercise. By moving the associated arm levers, the user is able to simultaneously exercise the muscles in their arms, back, and chest.

The trainer in treadmill mode has a more expansive stride capacity, allowing a more full range of motion, similar to a treadmill. The user is able to change from short walking steps to a wide running gait without having to alter any control settings.

The user is able to switch between these three different functions by simply changing their stride.
