The NordicTrack FreeStride Trainer FS5i is unique in having the functions of three different exercise machines in one piece of equipment. In essence, it combines the benefits of a stepper, a treadmill, and an elliptical into a single machine.
Featuring a floating suspension design, the trainer allows strides up to 32 inches. This allows the user to take short up-and-down steps, smooth elliptical-like strides, or stretch a wide running gait.
The trainer is iFIT enabled. You can access specialized workouts, track your progress, customize your training, and run anywhere in the world using Google Maps. This feature requires a subscription to iFIT, which is sold separately.
