This month’s Best buy is the  ProForm Power 995i. Offering fantastic value for money this feature rich machine is available at a comparatively modest price.

A powerful 3.0 CHP motor propels the tread belt at speeds of up to 12 MPH with a running deck that can be inclined at up to 15 % of grade.

The control console features a bright, LED display showing essential workout data. Additionally a ring of LED lights surrounding the numeric display illuminate to indicate the intensity level of your exercise.

If you’re in the market for a relatively inexpensive treadmill  then the ProForm Performance 400i is well worth considering.

A 2.5 CHP motor drives the 55″ x 20″ belt while an LED display shows the speed, time, distance, and calories. A circular ring of LED’s around the numeric display shows the intensity level of the workout.

The running deck is supported by a “ProShox” cushioning system and 18 built-in workouts provide plenty of variety. Extra functionality and interest can be added with the optional iFIT facility that can connect a Bluetooth enabled device such as a tablet to an account.

Hand grip heart rate sensors monitors pulse rate while an in-built sound system allows for connection to an iPOD. A conveniently located holder is fitted above the top of the display to hold a tablet device.

Another great buy is the NordicTrack C 1650. This mid range machine is loaded with hi-tech features and allows the user to get online while experiencing a great workout.

There are 34 workout programs plus the optional, innovative iFIT technology that allows you to customize your own fitness program, receive workout downloads, and manage your profile online.

The flagship of NordicTrack’s range is the Commercial 2950. This is a fully featured, high tech treadmill.

The specifications alone are very impressive with a 4.25 CHP motor, and 22″ x 60″ tread belt.

Your entertainment needs are catered for with a 22″ full color touch screen with web browser.

Connecting to your wireless internet network you can read your email, check the news or engage in social networking activities.

The extremely popular Sole F80 has been around for many years and although having had one or two minor changes the original design has stood the test of time well.

This is a folding treadmill and is powered by 3.5 CHP motor that is able to drive the 22″ x 60″ tread belt at speeds of up to 12 MPH.

The console has an LCD display and includes fans, and a sound system with MP3 connection. Secondary controls are built into the arm rests.

A key feature of this elliptical trainer is the power adjustable incline that allows the user to change the shape of their stride in order to target and tone specific muscle groups.
