This is the new version of this popular non-folding treadmill from Sole Fitness. Building upon the solid reputation of the Sole S73 treadmill this version includes a bigger motor with a 3.75 CHP unit , and a larger (60″ x 22″) tread belt.
The treadmill is ready to use with a total of 10 workouts. These programs comprise of 6 pre-set, 2 User Defined and 2 Heart Rate Control programs.
There are handrail mounted toggle switches, making it easier to control the speed and incline and a heart rate control feature that allows you to exercise within your optimal training zone. A built in sound system allows for the connection of an iPOD or MP3 player.
The unit is endorsed by a lifetime warranty on the frame, motor and deck, 5 years on the electronics and 2 years in labor (in home service).

… drive motor
The treadmill utilizes a smooth and powerful 3.75 CHP Continuous Duty motor which has been designed for a long life. This is an industrial quality motor with a large diameter, all-steel zinc coated, balanced flywheel which results in a vibration walking surface.
The flywheel assists the motor in running cooler and with smaller currents being drawn which helps extend motor life. Another benefit is allowing for a low start speed of .5mph of 1mph.

The conveniently positioned Hand Grip Pulse Monitors located on the handlebars are supplemented by the optional chest strap which provides the advantage of taking readings of your heart rate and feeding them back to the treadmill console by wireless telemetry.

When this program is selected the “Heart Rate Control” feature of this treadmill automatically adjusts the intensity of your workout in accordance with your heart rate which is fed back via the grip pulse monitor or via the optional wireless telemetry strap so that you are always in the optimum target fitness zone.

This model has a large (7.5″) LCD Blue Display. This attractive display will show Speed, Incline, Time, Distance Traveled, Calories, Pulse and Pace. Additionally, there is a 1/4 mile track feature and a Peak and Valley graph for different programs.

This model has an integrated message board feature. In essence this feature consists of scrolling messages directed at the user in order to guide them through the workout.
You can think of the message board just like having an instructor standing next to you advising you on every feature of the treadmill’s operation. The message board will also review your entire workout after you have completed your workout so that you can see your progress.

Toggle switches have been built in to the handrail to enable the user to adjust both the the speed and incline. Using these handrail mounted switches allows the user to make the necessary adjustments without having to reach forward to press buttons on the control console and possibly disrupt their stride.

This model incorporates a long (60″) and extra wide (22″) running belt. Some treadmills in this price range have narrower or shorter belts. Having a longer tread belt provides more room which is an advantage for taller users, with longer than average stride lengths or if you intend to use the treadmill for running.

In order to keep you entertained the treadmill comes with an in built sound system. Integrated into the treadmill’s console, this sound system allows you to plug your iPOD, or MP3 Player, into auxiliary input jack and listen to your music collection through the sound system.
