This is the new version of the popular Smooth 7.35 treadmill. This is a “space saver” model which means that it can be folded into an upright position where it occupies less space. It has a 20″ x 54 ” tread belt that is driven by a powerful 3.25 CHP motor.
The shock absorption is taken care of by a “Im-Pression” cushioning system that has been designed to reduce the impact of walking and running. The running deck is designed to increase cushioning and reduce the harmful impact on your ankles, knees, hips, and back.
There are a variety of 25 workout programs that are divided into 5 functional groups. These consist of 1 Manual program, 5 Incline programs, 5 Speed / Incline programs, 4 Heart Rate Control programs, 4 Customizable programs and a Fitness test.
There is a built in deluxe sound system that enables you to connect an iPOD or MP3 player and hear your music selection played through the speakers mounted in the console.
The product comes with long and comprehensive warranty that gives Lifetime cover on the frame and motor, 7 years all parts and electronics and 2 years of in-home service.

This model comes pre-loaded with 25 Challenging Preset Programs that are divided into 5 different functional groups:
First there is a Manual Program that allows you to change the speed and incline of the treadmill to your preference during the workout.
Secondly, there are 5 Incline Programs that automatically change the incline of the running deck throughout the workout.
Next there are 5 Speed Programs that automatically modifies the speed of the treadmill throughout the workout.
Then there are 5 Speed / Incline Programs that alters the speed and the incline of the running deck throughout the duration of the workout.
There are 4 Heart Rate Control Program that automatically modifies the speed and incline of the treadmill in sympathy with the user’s heart rate in to maintain a preset target level.
Also included are 4 Custom Programs which allow the user to make their own workout programs. These custom workouts can be stored and repeated as often as the user likes or modified in order to meet new fitness requirements.
A fitness test which requires completion within a fixed time enables the user to gain an insight into the improvements they have made during their workout sessions.

The control console has a “VivaClear” Blue, backLit LCD display. This shows all of the relevant workout data including: speed, time, distance, incline, calories burned, and heart rate control.

The treadmill incorporates the innovative “mySMOOTH” Virtual Fitness Trainer. By tracking the user’s progress, creating custom workout plans and offering tips and advice the Virtual Trainer provides the motivation to keep the user on track towards their fitness goals.
… handgrip controls
Adjusting the speed and incline settings of a treadmill whilst it is in motion can be somewhat precarious as on most models the user has to lean forward from their upright walking or running potion in order to adjust the console mounted control.
This model over comes this problem with controls for both the speed and the incline settings mounted on the handrails where they are more easily accessed than from the buttons on the control panel.

This model utilizes a powerful 3.25 HP continuous duty motor. The unit has been designed for long life and whisper quiet operation. The motor benefits from an advanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuit board which is usually found only on expensive commercial treadmills. The integral speed sensors work in tandem with the PWM circuitry to ensure smooth speed changes.

Mounted within the control console is an integrated “Smooth Sound” deluxe audio system. This system is iPOD or MP3 compatible, helping you to stay motivated and energized as the music is pumped out of the speakers. You are thus able to experience your favorite music during your workout without being encumbered with headphone wires.
… workout cooling fan
A “Smooth-Air” workout cooling fan incorporated into the console. The fan will enable you to stay cool and fresh even during your most vigorous workout.
… safety key
A safety key and lanyard is provided with the treadmill. In order for the treadmill to be operational the key must be present in the control console. This means that with the key withdrawn the treadmill cannot be operated by unauthorized users such as small children.
The safety key has a lanyard with a small plastic clip attached to one end which can be clipped onto the users clothing. If the user were to accidentally trip or fall while on the treadmill the key is pulled away from the console causing the treadmill’s walking belt to slow to a stop.
… water bottle holder
A water bottle holder is built into the console. This is conveniently located and ideal for holding your drinks bottle or any other small accessory that you may require during your workout session.

When evaluating a suitable treadmill it is important that the the maximum user weight quoted by the manufacturer exceeds the weight of the heaviest intended user. The maximum user weight for this model is 350 lbs.
… folding design
This is a “space saver” or folding treadmill which means that when you have finished your workout you can fold the running deck up into a near vertical where it will occupy less floor space.
Additionally the folding feature incorporates a “soft drop” folding mechanism. This is essentially a gas shock-assist lift system that allows you to gently tilt the deck of the treadmill into either it’s operational or storage position.

This treadmill doesn’t have to be tied to one location within your house as the transport wheels mounted on the bottom of the frame allow it to me moved around. Simply raise the deck into it’s upright storage position and the treadmill can be rolled away to any suitable location within your home.
