Twin workout cooling fans are built into the control console which also includes a compatible music port for an iPOD or MP3 player. The console also includes a stand to hold a tablet computer securely.
This model is iFIT enabled with the iFIT module already built in. This technology provides additional functionality and allows the user to run tracks generated by Google maps that simulate the terrain of the trail. This particular feature requires subscription to iFIT.com.
The product is underwritten by a Lifetime Frame and Motor Warranty, 5 Years Parts Warranty and a 2 Years Labor warranty.
Here are the main features:
… workout programs
This treadmill has 38 built-in workout programs with each workout having been designed by a certified personal trainer. The workout programs take control of the treadmill and automatically adjusts the speed and incline allowing you to concentrate on working out.
These 38 workout apps showcase everything this treadmill is capable of and provide the necessary direction and impetus in order for you to achieve your fitness goals.

… drive motor
Driving this treadmill is a 4.25 CHP motor which is the most powerful unit you are likely to see in any treadmill regardless of price. The motor benefits from high-grade wiring, insulation, and a thermal cut-off switch. High-end, commercial bearings and brushes are used to ensure a long, trouble free life.
The motor is also dynamically spin-balanced and extensively tested for superior performance in vibration and noise in order to deliver a smooth and quiet operation.
… 10″ color touch screen
Employing the latest in interactive technology this treadmill utilizes a 10″ full color touch-screen display with a built-in web browser.
The display tracks essential fitness data such as speed, time, distance, incline, pulse and calories burned. Also by subscribing to iFIT.com you can watch your progress with Google Maps on specific races and courses throughout the world.
Additionally you can connect to your home’s wireless network to check the news, read email, watch sports highlights, or get on Facebook via the 10″ touch-screen display.

… speed adjustment
The treadmill comes equipped with “QuickSpeed” control. This means that you can easily jump to any speed within the range 0 – 12 MPH with one touch at any time during your workout. You can decrease your speed immediately when you are tired and need a break, or increase it instantly for a challenging burst.
… incline adjustment
The treadmill is also equipped with “Quick Incline” control. This allows you to electronically change the degree of slope up or down throughout your workout from the control panel. The slope of the incline can be adjusted within the range 0 -15 deg. You can simulate running uphill and add both challenge and variety to your exercise session.
… iFIT enabled
This treadmill is iFIT enabled. In essence iFIT is a wireless internet connection to the treadmill, but there is a lot more to this technology than that. iFIT adds extra functionality, entertains and engages your interest by opening up a whole new set of workout experiences.
Using the data provided by Google Maps, iFIT allows the user to recreate any route they choose with the treadmill’s computer automatically adjusting the incline up and down in order to simulate the actual terrain. You have the choice of selecting a pre-planed program or draw a map anywhere on the globe.
Another benefit of iFIT is that new workouts are automatically downloaded to the treadmill every day during a set program. These workouts take control of the treadmill, automatically adjusting the speed and incline to provide new challenges to keep you motivated.
It should be noted that the iFIT feature requires a home wireless internet connection and subscription to iFIT which is sold separately.

… deck decline
In addition to the 15% of positive inclination that can be adjusted by a simple “Quick control” system the deck is also able to decline to – 3%. This is a feature that is usually only found on more expensive, gym quality machines.
The deck decline has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline. This is claimed to burn more calories and stimulate more muscle for faster results.
… iPOD/ MP3 connection
The treadmill features a universal iPOD port. Connecting either an iPOD or any other MP3 player allows you to enjoy your favorite music or an audio book through the built-in sound system.
The system delivers improved clarity while reproducing a wide range of audio frequencies. Simply plug in, press play and listen to your favorite sounds while you exercise.
… tablet computer holder
A useful feature is the inclusion of a tablet computer holder. A solid, purpose made bracket holds the tablet in situ during your workout. It’s positioned so that the device is at eye-level enabling you to easily view the screen of the tablet without interrupting your workout.

… cushioning system
Exercising on a treadmill is a great way to keep fit but running or walking on some treadmills can result in wear and tear to your joints.
The “ProShox” cushioning system employed on this treadmill has been designed to help reduce the impact on your joints and deliver a more comfortable surface on which to walk or run.
… heart rate monitor
The treadmill is equipped with a Dual-Grip Heart Rate Monitor. The built-in precision sensors allow you to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate. Simply grip the built-in sensors to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate.
The treadmill is also supplied with a wireless chest strap that transmits your heart rate information to the console without the need to grip the contact sensors when running for example.
… workout cooling fan
This treadmill has a “CoolAire” workout fan incorporated into the control console to keep you cool during your workout. The fan features multiple speed settings. You can press the fan increase or decrease button to select a fan speed or to turn off the fan completely.

… safety key
A safety key and lanyard is provided with the treadmill. In order for the treadmill to be operational the key must be present in the control console. This means that with the key withdrawn the treadmill cannot be operated by unauthorized users such as young children.
The safety key has a lanyard with a small plastic clip attached to one end which can be clipped onto the users clothing. If the user were to accidentally trip or fall while on the treadmill the key is pulled away from the console causing the treadmill’s walking belt to slow to a stop.
… folding design
When not in use the deck on this model can be folded upright to a near vertical position, so that the treadmill occupies a lot less floor space.
An “Easy Lift” system utilizing a telescoping shock unit helps the user to lift the deck upright for storage. When the equipment is required for use the mechanism drops the deck slowly back into place.
