NordicTrack Commercial 1500 Treadmill
This home treadmill is fitted with many advanced features. The NordicTrack Commercial 1500 has a 20″ x 60″ tread belt that is powered by a 3.25 CHP Durx Commercial Pro motor. The shock absorption is taken care of by the “QuadFlex” cushioning system, designed to offer the ultimate stride comfort throughout your workout.
Workout Programs
There are a total of 24 in-built workout programs consisting of 6 Calorie Workouts, 6 High Intensity, 6 Speed, and 6 Incline Workouts. The Calorie Workouts have been designed to burn the maximum number of calories, and all of the workouts are easy to select due to the simple navigation system.
This model is iFIT compatible. Connecting to your home wireless internet network, it lets you experience different trails and watch your progress on a map while adjusting the incline to simulate the actual terrain.
Other features include the ability to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, and manage your profile online (This feature requires the iFIT module which is sold separately and subscription to iFIT).
Console Display
This model has the next generation of LCD display screen technology. This screen includes a 1/4 mile Race Track display and can show the following information:
- Distance that you have walked or run
- Workout intensity bar
- Approximate number of calories you have burned
- Incline level of the treadmill
- Number of vertical feet you have climbed
- Speed of the walking belt
- Your heart rate
Drive Motor
The treadmill utilizes a DurX 3.25 CHP Motor. This is a commercial-grade motor that includes an internal fan, which cools internal components and extends the motor’s life. This design allows you to exercise for longer periods of time while maintaining smooth, consistent operation.
Deck Cushioning
The treadmill takes the shock out of running with proprietary “QuadFlex” cushioning. This cushioning system has been designed to reduce the impact on your ankles, knees, and spine.
Heart Rate Sensors
This treadmill is equipped with a cardiogrip heart rate monitor. This helps you make the most out of every workout by monitoring your heart rate via sensors that are built into the handlebars. Monitoring your heart rate ensures that you’re always in the right training zone for your goals. You can get a more effective workout, burn more fat, and improve your cardiovascular health.
iPOD Connection
This treadmill has a universal iPod dock. You can enjoy your workout while you play your favorite music through the built-in “Intermix Acoustic 3.0” Sound System. The music port is also equipped with a convenient shelf to rest your iPod upon, leaving the controls within easy reach.
Speed Control
1-Touch control is used to control the treadmill’s speed. Instead of tediously scrolling through options, the 1-Touch system allows you to instantly change the speed of the treadmill between 0 – 12 MPH with the single touch of a button. You can decrease your speed immediately when you need a rest, or increase it instantly for a challenging workout.
Incline Control
1-Touch control technology is used to change the incline of the running deck with the single touch of a button instead of tediously scrolling through options as you would with traditional incline controls. The incline can be adjusted between 0 deg. up to 15 deg. of grade.
Foldaway Design
Storing a treadmill can be a problem, but the “space saver” feature on this model lends a hand. This facility allows you to fold the treadmill into a near upright position after your workout, where it will then occupy a much smaller floor area.
User Weight
The running deck on this model has a 350 lb weight capacity, which makes it suitable for the majority of users.
