The highly acclaimed Smooth 9.35 has been a leading light in the SmoothFitness catalog for a few years now – this is new version of this model with many improvements in specifications and additional features. This has a non-folding design running with a 21″ x 61″ belt powered by a colossal 4.0 CHP motor.
The user is presented with a variety of in-built workouts that are arranged into different groups. These groups consist of a manual program, incline programs, speed programs, speed/incline programs, heart rate control programs, custom programs and a fitness test
The console incorporates a back-lit LCD display which shows all the relevant workout data including: speed, time, distance, incline, calories burned and heart rate control.
A deluxe audio center built into the control console can be hooked up to an iPOD or MP3 player. The console also houses a workout cooling fan, water bottle holders and a media /reading rack which can accomodate an iPAD or other tablet computer.
The product is underwritten by a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor plus a lifetime warranty on all other parts and 2 yrs labor.

The user has a choice of 30 challenging, preset programs. These are arranged into the following groups:
MANUAL PROGRAM: This setting allows the user full control over the treadmill. Both the speed and incline can be varied according to the user’s liking at any time during the workout.
INCLINE PROGRAMS: There are a total of 8 incline programs each of which alters the level of incline of the running deck automatically.
SPEED PROGRAMS: There are a total of 8 speed programs each of which alters the speed of the tread belt automatically.
SPEED / INCLINE PROGRAMS: There are 5 speed / incline programs that alter the speed of the tread belt and the incline of the running deck automatically during the course of the workout.
HEART RATE CONTROL PROGRAMS : There are 4 heart rate control programs which automatically vary the speed and incline of the treadmill in sympathy with the user’s heart rate.
CUSTOM PROGRAMS: There are 4 custom programs which allows the user to create their own workout programs and save them for later use. These stored programs can be repeated as often as the user likes or modified according to changing fitness requirements.

This model incorporates the “mySMOOTH” virtual fitness trainer. This innovative training system helps you to achieve your goals faster by tracking your progress, creating custom workout plans and offering tips and advice to keep you motivated.

Conveniently placed toggle switches are built in to the handrail to enable the user to adjust both the the speed and incline. Using these handrail mounted switches allows the user to make the necessary adjustments without having to reach forward to press buttons on the control console and possibly disrupt their stride.

The running surface is made up of a large 61″ x 21″ tread belt. Other treadmills in this price range can have have a smaller tread belt area – you will appreciate the advantages of this larger walking space when you come to use the treadmill.

The motive power is provided by a 4.0 CHP continuous duty motor which is built for long life and is underwritten by a lifetime warranty.
The design of the motor incorporates an advanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuit board which is usually only found on commercial treadmills. Speed sensors working in conjunction with the PWM circuit board ensure smooth speed changes.
