ProForm i Series 660 CrossTrainer Review

Designed to enable you to sculpt and tone your body using circuit-style, training workouts the ProForm i Series 660 Cross Trainer offers varied cross-training workouts designed by a certified personal trainer.

Incorporating 4 Interactive Cross Training workouts, these combine muscle-sculpting exercises with a cardio workout giving you more results in less time. Each workout allows you to burn calories while adding muscle mass.

Equipped with “QuickSpeed” buttons, one touch power incline, and dual-grip EKG heart rate monitor which allows you to stay in your target heart-rate range with a quick glance at the console window during your fitness workout.

Drive motor

The treadmill utilizes a powerful 2.8 HP motor. With more power than a regular drive system, the commercial grade Mach Z motor allows you to exercise for longer periods of time while maintaining smooth, consistent operation.

Shock absorption

The “ProShox” impact-reducing cushioning absorption system employed on this trainer has been designed to give you a more comfortable workout and enable you to workout for longer.

Workout programs

The model features 4 Interactive Cross Training workouts, which combine muscle-sculpting exercises with a fantastic cardio workout-giving you more results in less time.

There are also 4 Weight Loss workouts, each designed by a Certified Personal Trainer to get you to burn calories and lose weight quickly.

Also included with the CrossTrainer are a pair of 2 lb. Hand Weights. You can you use these in conjunction with some of workouts in order to perform some upper body workouts.

Speed control

The “QuickSpeed” control is used to regulate the speed of the tread belt. This feature allows you to jump to any speed with one touch throughout your workout. You can decrease your speed immediately when you need a break, or increase it instantly for a challenging burst.

LCD display

The control console features an easy to read ClearView Prizm Display with “GloZone” technology that changes colors on the LCD display according to the difficulty of the workout.

A Scrolling CrossTrainer Display allows you to easily track all of the data from your workout. There is also the capability for Individual Weight Input coupled with a Carb Counter.

Incline adjustment

A power incline control is used to alter the angle of the running surface. This feature allows you to electronically change the degree of slope up or down throughout your workout from the control panel. You can simulate running uphill and add both challenge and variety to your exercise session.

Heart rate monitor

A built-in precision sensors allow you to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate. Simply grip the built-in sensors to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate, stay within your optimum training zone and burn more fat.

Workout cooling fan

Exercising can be a lot of fun, but can also leave you feeling hot and “sticky”. A console mounted fan means that you can enjoy a cool refreshing breeze and stay cool and comfortable during the most vigorous workout.

User weight

It is always best to choose a treadmill that has a manufacturer’s specified user weight that is greater than the intended user’s weight. This treadmill has a 300 lb. user weight-capacity.

Folding frame
