NordicTrack E 8.9 Elliptical Trainer Review

The NordicTrack E 8.9 elliptical is a front drive machine benefiting from many hi-tech features. A key feature is the power ramp that alters the incline and consequently changes the shape of the stride. The user is thus able to concentrate on developing one or more specific muscle groups.

The equipment has 26 challenging programs to engage the user’s interest and help them achieve their specific fitness goals. Additionally there are 22 digital resistance levels which can be selected to help burn more calories or tone up.

The operating console on this elliptical has a control panel incorporating a 5″ back-lit display. The screen has a wide viewing angle making it easy to keep an eye on all relevant workout data. The display provides information on the following parameters:

Additionally the user is able to monitor their progress on a visual, quarter-mile racetrack graphic.

… auto cooling fan

A vigorous workout can leave you hot and uncomfortable, but this model provides the perfect solution with an integrated workout cooling fan.

The fan has a low, high and auto setting. When the auto setting is selected the speed of the fan will automatically adjust itself to the speed of your pedaling.

The console mounted fan is operated from a button on the control panel and helps to keep you to keep cool during the most vigorous workout.
