The NordicTrack Commercial 2250 has a mighty 4.2 CHP motor driving a 22″ x 60″ tread belt. The “Runners Flex” Adjustable Cushioning system has been designed specifically to reduce the impact on joints.

The console incorporates a 10″ full color touch screen powered by Android. This attractive display allows you to navigate through workout stats and options with the swipe of a finger. You can quickly view your total distance, workout pace, speed, incline/decline and total time on the large, easy-to-read display.

Additionally there is provision for an iPOD to be connected to the inbuilt, twin 3″ speakers so that you can enjoy your favorite music.

The most unusual feature of this treadmill is the iFIT feature. This innovative feature provides internet connectivity, allowing you to experience trails all over the world and watch your progress on the display map. The iFIT technology automatically adjusts your incline to simulate the physical characteristics of the terrain.

Other features include the ability to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, and manage your profile online. It should be noted, however that the iFIT feature requires a home wireless internet connection and membership to IFIT which is sold separately.

One of the most surprising features is the ability to decline the running deck. This feature is usually only found on more expensive treadmills and has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline. This is claimed to burn more calories than walking on a flat surface and stimulate more muscle for faster results.
