Nordic Track Commercial 1500 - this is a space saver (folding) treadmill. It has a 20" x 60" treadbelt that is powered by a 3.0 HP DurX commercial motor. The shock absorption is taken care of by the "DuraStride" adjustable cushioning system that employs a moveable isolator to enable you to customize the feel.

There are 28 Personal Trainer workout programs that automatically adjust the incline and speed of the treadmill. Each of these programs foare designed by a Certified Personal Trainer to help you achieve your fitness goals. Additionally there are 6 "Memory" workouts where certain workout parameters can be modified by the user to produce a customized workout.

The most unusual feature of this treadmill is the iFIT Live feature. This recent inovation (powered by Google Maps) allows you to experience trails all over the world and watch your progress on the display map. The iFIT Live technology automatically adjusts your incline to simulate the physical characteristics of the terrain. This feature requires an internet connection and paid membership to iFIT.

Other features include the ability to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads and manage your profile online. It should be noted, however that the iFIT live feature requires membership to iFIT Live at additional cost.

The console incorporates a Hi-Resolution Grafixx display. This allows multiple information fields to be shown, or a single display 1" tall, for dynamic goal training. Depending on the training features available, the Grafixx Display can help you track your fitness history, visually represent your workout intensity or even show you racing against a virtual competitor.

The console also contains an Intermix Acoustics sound system that can be hooked up to an iPOD or other MP3 player via a compatible music port. The iPOD is able to rest upon the console shelf leaving the controls within easy reach.

To ease any concerns over reliability the Nordic Track Commercial 1500 treadmill comes with a Lifetime warranty on the motor and frame, with 2yrs cover on all other parts and one year labor.

The NordicTrack Commercial 1500 treadmill utilizes a DurX 3.0 HP Motor. This is a commercial-grade motor that includes an internal fan which cools internal components and extends the motor's life. The Nordic Track Commercial 1500 takes the shock out of running with DuraStride Cushioning. This is an adjustable cushioning system that has been designed to reduce the impact on your ankles, knees and spine. The DuraStride cushioning employs a moveable isolator, which allows you to change your support from a firmer, street-like workout, to a softer, joint-friendly workout, or anywhere in between.
