NordicTrack Commercial 1500 - this is the latest version of the highly acclaimed Commercial 1500 model from NordicTrack with many advanced features. The 1500 is a Space Saver (Folding) treadmill. It has a 20" x 60" tread belt that is powered by a 3.25 CHP Durx Commercial Pro motor. The shock absorption is taken care of by the "QuadFlex" Plus cushioning system which has been designed to offer the ultimate in stride comfort throughout your workout.
There are a total of 24 in-built Workout programs consisting of 6 Calorie Workouts, 6 High Intensity, 6 Speed, and 6 Incline Workouts. The Calorie Workouts have been designed to burn the maximum number of calories and all of the workouts are easy to select due to the simple navigation system. This model is iFIT Live compatible. Connecting to your home wireless internet network it lets you experience different trails and watch your progress on a map while adjusting the incline to simulate the actual terrain. (Requires the iFIT LIVE module which is sold separately). Other features include the ability to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, and manage your profile online. It should be noted, however that the iFIT live feature requires a wireless internet connection. The console incorporates a 8" back light display. The display has a large viewing angle so that you can always keep track of your workout progress. It displays your speed, time, distance, pulse and calories burned. The RaceTrack function allows you to monitor your progress in a track-style display. The console also contains an Intermix Acoustics sound system that can be hooked up to an iPOD or other MP3 player via a compatible music port. The iPOD is able to rest upon the console shelf leaving the controls within easy reach. Perhaps one of the most surprising features is the ability of the deck to decline. This feature is usually only found on more expensive treadmills and has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline. This is claimed to burn more calories than walking on a flat surface and stimulate more muscle for faster results. To ease any concerns over reliability the Nordic Track Commercial 1500 treadmill comes with a Lifetime warranty on the Motor, Frame, and Deck with 5 yrs cover on all other parts (including electronics) and 2 yrs labor warranty.

The NordicTrack Commercial 1500 treadmill utilizes a DurX 3.0 HP Motor. This is a commercial-grade motor that includes an internal fan which cools internal components and extends the motor's life. This design of this motor allows you to exercise for longer periods of time, while maintaining smooth, consistent operation.

Achieving your fitness goals with a treadmill requires motivation and having a variety of preset programs. The Nordic Track Commercial 1500 scores here with 28 Personal Trainer workout programs that automatically adjust the incline and speed of the treadmill, each program focusing on an aerobic, weight loss or performance goal.
In addition to the 28 Personal Trainer workout programs there are also an additional 4 "Create and Save" Workouts which let you design your own customized workouts and then save them to be used over and over again for personalized results.
...check your metrics! The NordicTrack Commercial 1500 console has the next generation of LCD display screen technology - the Hi-Resolution Grafixx display. This display can either show multiple information fields, for an overall picture of your workout, or show a single display as large as 1 " tall, for targeted goal orientated training.
Depending on the training features available, the Grafixx Display can help you track your fitness history, visually represent your workout intensity or even show you racing against a virtual competitor. ... iFIT Live! The NordicTrack Commercial 1500 is iFIT Live capable. In essence this is a wireless connection between the Internet and the treadmill. The iFIT Live feature allows you to experience trails all over the globe just as if you were running outside. iFIT Live enables you to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, manage your profile online and work out with Jillian Michaels. You can even add the thrill of competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos that are available for download. You can decrease your speed immediately when you need a rest, or increase it instantly for a challenging workout.

The Nordic Track Commercial 1500 also uses the 1-Touch control technology in order to change the incline with the single touch of a button instead of tediously scrolling through options as you would with traditional incline controls. The incline can be adjusted between 0 deg. up to 15 deg. of grade.

If you are concerned that you haven't enough room to store an exercise treadmill the Nordic Track 1500 Commercial addresses this problem with it's "Space saver" technology. This facility allows you to fold the treadmill into a near upright position after your workout where it will then occupy a lot smaller floor area.
