February is upon us already and it is now just over a month since many of us made our New Year's resoltion to lose weight and keep in shape.

One of two new models in NordicTrack's lineup is the Nordic Track A2550 PRO. This Folding treadmill has a 2.5 HP Commercial Motor. There are 16 built in workouts and the exciting new iFIT LIVE technology which when enabled using the optional iFIT LIVE module allows connection to the internet to provide additional novel training features. Another newcomer to NordicTrack's lineup is the Nordic Track A2750 PRO. This is the sister model to the A2550 and also features the new iFIT LIVE capability but, has a better overalll specification. Specifically it benefits from a longer treadbelt (60") that is driven by a more powerful (2.75 HP) motor. It has greater incline than it's stablemate at 12% and has a stated user weight of 350 lbs. Smooth Fitness have replaced their extremely popular Smooth 5.45 model. Designated the Smooth 5.65 this retains the high quality build and solid feel of it's predecessor but has a more modern design. Smooth has added wireless heart rate control and hand rail mounted switches to control speed and incline. Other new features include a sound system wth iPOD connectivity and workout cooling fan. Another new SmoothFitness model for 2010 is the the Smooth 6.75 which is effectively a replacement for the 6.45M. This mid priced folding treadmill enjoys the same features as the entry level SmoothFitness model but with the added benefit of a huge (60" x 20") running surface which is powered by a 3.0 HP motor. For those who are looking for a mid to high end treadmill there is the ground breaking "9 Series" treadmills. This is a big step for SmoothFitness who have made a considerable investment in these new models. These are superbly engineered treadmills with elegant lines and many innovative features.
