FreeMotion XTr - this is a mid priced model in FreeMotion's treadmill range. The XTr treadmill is a Space Saver treadmill which means that it can be folded up to take up less storage space. It has a spacious 20" x 60" tread belt and is powered by a 3.0 HP Commercial Pro motor. The FreeMotion XTr uses the new iFIT Live technology which enables the treadmill to be connected to the internet to add interest and functionality to your workout. It allows you to manage your profile online and even work out with Jillian Michaels. This feature requires a wireless internet connection, and the addition of the iFIT LIVE module which is sold separately. There are a total of 34 Workout Programs that automatically adjust the incline and speed of your treadmill. These are split into two functional groups comprising 28 Performance workouts which have been designed by a certified personal trainer and 6 Memory workouts.
The console incorporates a Graphical Backlit Display. This display tracks your speed, time, incline, distance, pulse, carbs burned and calories burned. The control console also features a compatible Music port for use with an iPOD or any other MP3 player. To ease any concerns over durability the FreeMotion XTr treadmill comes with a Lifetime warranty cover on the motor and frame, and 1 year of parts and labor.

The FreeMotion XTr treadmill is powered by a 3.0 CHP Commercial Pro drive motor. This commercial-grade motor has more power than an ordinary motor and has direct cooling that allows you to exercise for longer periods of time, while maintaining a smooth, consistent operation.
...iFIT Live! The FreeMotion XTr is iFIT Live capable. In essence this is a wireless connection between the Internet and the treadmill. The iFIT Live feature allows you to experience trails all over the globe just as if you were running outside. iFIT Live enables you to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, manage your profile online and work out with Jillian Michaels. You can even add the thrill of competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos that are available for download. It should be noted that this feature requires an internet connection, the iFIT Live Module that is available as an optional extra.

Instead of tediously scrolling through options, the 1-Touch system allows you to instantly change the speed of the treadmill between 0 - 12 MPH with the single touch of a button. You can decrease your speed when you need a rest, or increase it instantly for a challenging workout.

The FreeMotion XTr also uses the 1-Touch control technology in order to change the incline with the single touch of a button instead of tediously scrolling through options as you would with traditional incline controls. The incline can be adjusted between 0 deg. up to 12 deg.

Featuring the very latest in visual technology the FreeMotion XTr utilizes a high-resolution, graphical, backlit display that presents your workout data in an easy to read format. ...plug in your iPOD! The FreeMotion XTr allows you to listen to your favorite music while you workout with the built-in, Universal MP3 Dock. You simply plug your iPOD or MP3 Player, into the Interplay Music Port in order to enjoy your favorite music during your workout. With the iPOD resting on the console shelf, it's within easy reach and leaves the controls right at your fingertips.
... fold up and save space ! If you are concerned that you haven't enough room to store a treadmill the FreeMotion XTr addresses this problem with it's space saving, folding design. This facility allows you to fold the treadmill into an upright position after your workout where it will then occupy a lot smaller floor area. The space saver mechanism also incorporates an AirLight shock which makes folding and un-folding the treadmill easier. When folded the treadmill is held in it's upright position by a self-locking latch.
