Smooth 6.75 Treadmill - is a "Space Saver" or folding treadmill which means that it can be folded into a near folding position where it occupies less space. It has a huge (20" x 60") tread belt that is powered by a 3.0 HP motor.

The shock absorption is taken care of by the "Im-Pression" suspension system that has been designed to reduce the impact of walking and running. The running deck is designed to increase cushioning and reduce the harmful impact on your ankles, knees, hips, and back.

There are a variety of 12 inbuilt workout programs that are divided into 4 functional groups. These consist of 5 Speed programs, 5 Incline programs, 2 Distance programs, and 1 Heart Rate program.

The Smooth 6.75 has a built in deluxe sound system that enables you to attach an iPOD, MP3 player, CD player or other any other audio device to the auxiliary input jack so that you can hear your music selection through the speakers in the console.

The Smooth 6.75 utilizes a powerful 3.0 HP motor. This unit has been designed for long life and quiet operation. The motor benefits from an advanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuit board which is usually only found on commercial treadmills. The integral speed sensors work in tandem with the PWM circuitry to ensure smooth speed changes.

Walking and running are the most natural and enjoyable forms of exercising that you can take part in in but the repeated pounding can give your joints a hard time. Thats why most treadmills employ some form of cushioning or suspension system in the running deck.

The Im-Pression cushioning system on the 6.75 helps reduce harmful impact on your joints and back, providing a soft landing for the front foot and firm push-off for the rear foot. This enables you to exercise on the treadmill comfortably and for longer periods of time with less fatigue and discomfort.

An important factor in staying motivated when using a treadmill and achieving your fitness goals is having a good variety of preset workout programs. The Smooth 6.75 scores here with a 12 Challenging Preset Programs that are divided into 4 different functional groups:

Firstly, there are 5 Speed Programs that automatically vary the speed of the treadmill throughout the workout.

Next there are 5 Incline Programs that automatically changes the level of incline of the running surface.

Then there are 2 Distance Programs that automatically change the level of incline of the running surface. The user sets the speed to a desired value and the program modifies the incline throughout the workout.

Finally there is a Heart Rate Control Program that automatically modifies the speed and incline to maintain a preset target heart rate.

The Smooth 6.75 has a Heart Rate Control feature and comes equipped with a wireless chest strap. The pulse reading is taken from the hand grip pulse monitors or wireless chest strap and is used by the treadmill's computer to automatically adjust the intensity of your workout.

This dynamic feedback loop provided by the heart rate control feature ensures that you are exercising in your target heart zone so that you are deriving the greatest benefit from your workout.

Adjusting the speed and incline settings of a treadmill whilst it is in motion can be somewhat precarious as on most models the user has to lean forward from their upright walking or running potion in order to adjust the console mounted control.

The Smooth 6.75 over comes this problem with controls for both the speed and the incline settings mounted on the handrails where they are more easily accessed than from the buttons on the control panel.

Additionally the folding feature incorporates a Dual-Stage, Soft Drop Folding mechanism. This is essentially a gas shock-assist lift system that allows you to gently tilt the deck into it's operational or storage position.

The 6.75 also has transport wheels fitted so that when in it's upright storage position it can be rolled away to a suitable storage location.
