Smooth 6.75 Treadmill - is a new model in the Smooth Fitness 2010 lineup. This is a "space saver" or folding treadmill which means that it can be folded into a near folding position where it occupies less space. It has a large 20" x 60" tread belt that is powered by a 3.0 HP motor. The shock absorption is taken care of by a "swing arm" suspension system that has been designed to reduce the impact of walking and running. The running deck is designed to increase cushioning and reduce the harmful impact on your ankles, knees, hips, and back.
There are 12 inbuilt workout programs that are divided into 4 functional groups. These consist of 5 Speed programs, 5 Incline programs, 2 Distance programs, and 1 Heart Rate program. The Smooth 6.75 has a built in Deluxe Sound System that enables you to attach an iPOD, MP3 player, CD player or other any other audio device to the auxiliary input jack so that you can hear your music selection through the speakers in the console. The Smooth 6.75 utilizes a powerful 3.0 HP motor. This unit has been designed for long life and quiet operation. The motor benefits from an advanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuit board which is usually found on commercial treadmills. The integral speed sensors work in tandem with the PWM circuitry to ensure smooth speed changes.

Walking and running are the most natural and enjoyable forms of exercising that you can engage in but the continual pounding can take a toll on your joints. Running on some treadmills can feel like running on concrete. The Swing Arm Shock Absorption suspension on the 6.45M has been proven to lessen the impact of walking and running. Then there are 2 Distance Programs that automatically change the level of incline of the running surface. The user sets the speed to a desired level and the program modifies the incline. The Smooth 6.75 comes equipped with Heart Rate Control with wireless chest strap. The pulse reading is taken from the hand grip pulse monitors or wireless chest strap and is used by the treadmill's computer to automatically adjust the intensity of your workouts. This dynamic feedback loop provided by the heart rate control feature ensures that you are exercising in your target heart zone so that you are deriving the greatest benefit from your workout.
... handgrip controls! Adjusting the speed and incline settings of a treadmill whilst it is in motion can be somewhat precarious as on most models the user has to lean forward from their upright walking or running potion in order to adjust the console mounted control. The Smooth 6.75 over comes this problem with controls for both the speed and the incline settings mounted on the handrails where they are more easily accessed than from the buttons on the control panel.

The Smooth 6.75 is a "space saver" or folding treadmill which means that when you have finished your workout you can fold the running deck up into a near vertical where it will occupy less floor space. Additionally the folding feature incorporates a Dual-Stage, Soft Drop Folding mechanism. This is essentially a gas shock-assist lift system that allows you to gently tilt the deck into it's operational or storage position. The 6.75 also has transport wheels fitted so that when in it's upright storage position it can be rolled away to a suitable storage location.

The Smooth 6.75 is underwritten by a Lifetime warranty on the motor and a Lifetime warranty on the frame. There is a 5 yrs warranty on all other parts (including electronics) and 2 yrs in home labor.
