NordicTrack T5.7 - is a NEW for 2012 treadmill from NordicTrack. The T5.7 has many innovative features making it useful for weight loss and employs the latest in treadmill technology at a budget price. The T5.7 benefits from a spacious (20" x 55") tread belt, driven by a powerful 2.5 CHP motor and uses the "DualFlex" cushioning system. This is a Space Saver treadmill which means that after use it can be folded up into a near vertical position so as to take up less storage space. The NordicTrack T5.7 is iFIT Live compatible. This technology connects to the internet allowing you to add interest and functionality to your workout. You can recreate routes on GoogleMaps and even work out with Jillian Michaels. It should be noted that this requires the iFIT LIVE wireless adapter which is sold separately. The console incorporates a large, 6" backlit display. With a wide viewing angle you can easily track your total workout progress. Cardio-grip heart rate monitors are built into the handlebars with the pulse rate information displayed on the console. …smooth, quiet, power! The NordicTrack T5.7 treadmill utilizes a 2.5 CHP DurX Commercial Plus motor. This has been designed in order to allow the treadmill user to exercise for longer by the use of direct cooling technology. During the manufacturing process the motor is also spin balanced in order to ensure that it is both smooth and quiet when in service.

The NordicTrack T5.7 console has a large (6 inch), backlit display that shows all your essential workout data including: speed, time, distance, pulse and calories burned. The screen has a wide viewing angle making it easy to track your performance during your workout.
... scrolling, cross-trainer display! In addition to providing the essential workout data the consol mounted display also includes a 7x30 scrolling CrossTrainer display that shows your workout graphically and prompts the user when it's time to perform cross-training exercises.

...iFIT LIVE! The NordicTrack T5.7 is iFIT LIVE compatible. In essence this is a wireless internet connection to the treadmill, but there is a lot more to this technology than that. iFIT LIVE adds extra functionality, entertains and engages your interest by opening up a whole new set of workout experiences. Using the data provided by Google Maps, iFIT LIVE allows the user to recreate any route they choose with the treadmill's computer automatically adjusting the incline up and down in order to simulate the actual terrain. You have the choice of selecting a pre-planned program or draw a map anywhere on the globe. iFIT LIVE also gives you the opportunity to train with fitness coach Jillian Michaels. If you are trying to burn calories and lose weight Jillian's voice will spur you on, offering encouragement every step of the way! Another benefit of iFIT LIVE is that new workouts are automatically downloaded to the treadmill every day during an 8-week program. These workouts take control of the treadmill, automatically adjusting the speed and incline to provide new challenges to keep you motivated. The NordicTrack T5.7 has heart rate sensors built into the handlebars which monitor your pulse and display the live reading on the console display, helping you to stay within your target zone. Additionally the T5.7 is compatible with a wireless chest strap which enables your pulse rate to be monitored continually without having to touch the handlebars. It should be noted, however, that the chest strap is not supplied and has to be purchased as an optional extra.

... plug in your iPOD!
The NordicTrack T5.7 features a built-in Intermix Acoustics 2.0 sound sound system. Producing a broad range of frequencies and rich, equalized sound, you can enjoy your workout while you play your favorite music through the sound system. The system is iPOD compatible.
...safety key! The NordicTrack T5.7 comes with a safety key and lanyard. In order for the treadmill to be operational the key must be present in the control console. This means that with the key withdrawn the treadmill cannot be operated by unauthorized uers such as small children. The safety key has a lanyard with a small plastic clip attached to one end which can be clipped onto the uers clothing. If the user were to accidently trip or fall while on the treadmill the key is pulled away from the console causing the treadmill's walking belt to slow to a stop.
... fold to save space! If you are concerned that you haven't enough room to store an exercise treadmill the NordicTrack T5.7 addresses this problem with it's "Space saver" technology. This facility allows you to fold the treadmill into an upright position after your workout where it will then occupy a lot smaller floor area.
