NordicTrack Elite 9500 PRO - this is the NEW for 2012 version of the highly acclaimed Elite 9500 Pro treadmill from NordicTrack. This is a Space-Saver or (folding) treadmill which is laden with many advanced and innovative features. It has a huge 60" x 22" tread belt which is driven by a colossal 3.8 CHP commercial grade motor.The running deck has the ability to decline, a feature which is usually only found on much more expensive treadmills. The Elite 9500 PRO is fitted with "QuadFlex" precision calibration cushioning which allows the user to adjust the feel of the cushioning to the user's liking. You can calibrate the level of firmness to any one of 9 different settings. This treadmill utilizes iFIT Live technology. This innovative feature provides internet connectivity, allowing you to experience trails all over the world and watch your progress on the display map. The iFIT Live technology automatically adjusts your incline to simulate the physical topography of the terrain. Users wishing to be entertained are well catered for on the Elite 9500 PRO. A 10" Full Color Touch-Screen Display with a browser Powered by Android allows you to get online while you work out. The NordicTrack Elite Pro is iFIT Live capable. In essence this is a wireless connection between the Internet and the treadmill. The iFIT Live feature allows you to experience trails all over the globe just as if you were running outside. iFIT Live enables you to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, manage your profile online and work out with Jillian Michaels. You can even add the thrill of competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos that are available for download. It should be noted that this feature requires that the user has an internet connection.

The user is able to choose from calorie-burning, incline, speed or intensity goals. ... incline AND decline! In addition to the 15% of positive inclination that can be adjusted by a simple "1-Touch" system the deck is also able to decline to - 3%. This feature is usually only found on more expensive treadmills and has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline.
