Spirit Z500 Treadmill Review

This is a space-saving (folding) treadmill with a 20″ x 58″ running surface. The Spirit Z500 treadmill is equipped with a 3.0 HP continuous duty motor capable of reaching speeds up to 12 mph and inclines up to 15 degrees.

The treadmill offers ten pre-programmed workouts and two user-defined programs. The user-defined programs allow customization of various program elements. Additionally, there are two heart rate control programs that adjust the workout intensity to keep the user’s heart rate within their target zone.

The console features a six-window tri-color display that tracks essential workout data, including time, speed, distance, incline, calories, laps, pace, and heart rate. It also includes a ¼ mile track to assist with motivation and progress tracking during the workout.

The console has twelve “Quickspeed” buttons for quickly accessing preset speeds and another set of buttons for adjusting the incline settings. Additionally, there are ten convenient “One Touch” program keys.

The side handles have ergonomically positioned buttons for adjusting speed and incline without leaning forward to reach the console buttons.

Heart rate monitoring can be done by placing your hands on the sensors in the handlebars or using the supplied telemetry chest belt.

The console is equipped with twin workout cooling fans to keep the user cool during exercise. It also includes inbuilt speakers with a CD/MP3 interface.

The folding deck of the Spirit Z500 treadmill has four transport wheels for easy movement and storage after use.
