This is the 2017 version of the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 treadmill. It combines the latest in technological features to both engage and stimulate. This space saver (folding) treadmill has a 4.0 CHP motor driving a 22″ x 60″ tread belt.

The console incorporates a 10″ full color, web enabled, touch screen. This attractive display allows you to navigate through workout stats and options with the swipe of a finger. You can quickly view your total distance, workout pace, speed, incline/decline and total time on the large, easy-to-read display.

An exciting feature is the iFIT Coach. This sends new workouts to your treadmill every day, and allows you to travel virtual tracks all over the world as you watch the passing scenery on your console screen. This feature requires an internet connection, and subscription to iFIT.com.

… HD Smart touch screen

This treadmill features a 10″, Smart HD touch screen. This innovative feature brings the whole treadmill experience bang up to date by enabling the user to get online while indulging in an exhilarating workout.

The touch screen enables the user to connect to their home’s wireless internet network and check their email, surf the web or keep up to date with their social networking activities.

The screen also acts as a normal display screen so that the user can navigate through menus and pull up information such as speed, time, distance, incline, decline, calories burned, and pulse with a swipe of the finger.

The screen interface works with the iFIT coach to enable the user to enjoy the experience of watching their workout progress in real time via the Google Maps Street View technology.

Achieving your fitness goals with a treadmill requires motivation and having a variety of preset programs. This treadmill scores here with 40 in-built workout programs.

Each one of these have been designed by a Certified Personal Trainer and automatically adjust the incline and speed of the treadmill. The workouts focus on calorie-burning, incline, speed or intensity goals.

The treadmill has 10 preset iFIT Workouts that offer training programs delivered by Jillian Michaels, event training and a goal-setting center.

Be entertained and engaged with your exercise regime using the latest in fitness technology – the iFIT Coach. New workouts are sent to your treadmill every day and using Google maps technology you can run virtual tracks from all over the world.

The iFIT wireless technology is built in and you can access your iFIT account from your enabled exercise equipment, computer, tablet, or smartphone.

It should be noted that this feature requires a home wireless internet connection, and a subscription to iFIT.com which is sold separately.

… adjustable cushioning

In order to address the problems associated with the constant impact that joints receive whilst running this treadmill utilizes it’s proprietary “Runners Flex” adjustable cushioning. This unique cushioning system has been designed to reduce impact on joints.

The suspension can be enabled to provide cushioning along the whole length of the running deck for maximum comfort or disabled to simulate running on the road or track.

This model comes equipped with 1-Touch control. Instead of tediously scrolling through options, the 1-Touch system allows you to instantly change the speed of the treadmill between 0 to 12 MPH with the single touch of a button. You can decrease your speed immediately when you need a rest, or increase it instantly for a challenging workout.

… incline AND decline

In addition to the 15% of positive inclination that can be adjusted by a simple “1-Touch” system the deck is also able to decline to – 3%.

This feature is usually only found on more expensive treadmills and has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline.

This is claimed to burn more calories than walking on a flat surface and stimulate more muscle for faster results.

… upper / lower cooling fans

This model is unusual in having two sets of workout cooling fans which have been designed to direct cooling blasts of air to different parts of the body.

An upper set of fans are mounted in the control console and direct a cooling breeze onto the user’s neck and face while a fan mounted in the accessory tray directs cooling air to the user’s trunk.

Both sets of fans can be adjusted manually or put into auto mode where the fans speeds change in accordance with the treadmill’s speed.

The treadmill is equipped with a CardioGrip heart rate monitor. This helps you to make the most out of every workout by monitoring your heart rate via sensors that are built into the handlebars.

Monitoring your heart rate ensures that you’re always in the right training zone for your goals. You can get a more effective workout, burn more fat, and improve your cardiovascular health.

The heart rate monitor can also be used with a wireless, Bluetooth chest strap which is included.

… built-in speakers

The treadmill features an auxiliary music port. This enables the user to hook their music device up to the treadmill and listen to their favorite music or audio book title via the built-in, twin, 3″ speakers.

... space saving design

The design of this treadmill includes a folding frame to assist with storage. After use the running deck can be folded into a near upright position so that the equipment occupies less floor space.

Having this facility also assists in cleaning the floor area underneath the treadmill and also for any occasional maintenance.

In order to assist with folding the treadmill into it’s storage position there is a powerful shock that will help lift the deck with an easy push.
