Sole F83 Treadmill -this is a space saver (folding) treadmill that has a 20" x 58" running surface. The F83 treadmill is driven by a 3.0 HP continuous duty motor capable of driving the belt at speeds of up to 12 mph and inclines of up to 15 deg. of grade.

The Sole F83 treadmill features a powder coated all-steel welded frame and heavy duty stable incline. The chassis and motor fitted are the heaviest in it's class.

The F83 treadmill has an epoxy powder coated paint, baked to appliance finish durability. This finish protects the all-steel construction, along with welded steel, not bolted, the frames are indestructible and have a lifetime warranty.

The industrial quality motor fitted to the F83 treadmill has a large diameter, all-steel zinc coated balanced flywheel for a vibration-free secure running/walking surface.

The flywheel causes the motor to run cooler with less amp draw and extend the life off the motor. This also allows for a start speed of 0.1mph or 1/10 of 1mph. that is super slow and allows very easy and smooth starts.

The F83 treadmill uses high-end rollers that are usually fitted on $5000 treadmills. These are 2.75” rollers with a sealed bearing design and copper ground wires for each roller to reduce static.

Larger rollers make for a larger contact surface against the belt and longer roller and belt life. This makes for smooth, quiet, static free motion that will stand the test of time.

The F83 treadmill uses a double woven 2-ply belts with four layers. Two rubber layers over a middle PVC layer with a nylon backing that rolls over the deck and rollers.

The rubber provides the durability, the PVC stops the belt from over-stretching and the nylon provides a smooth static free surface to glide over the deck and rollers.

The Whisper Deck on the F83 treadmill is superior to any other on the market. Most treadmill decks have a Phenolic coating to make them smooth, quiet and durable, but this deck is exceptionally smooth and quiet.

Summary:

The Sole F83 treadmill is a space saver (folding) treadmill which means that it can be folded into a near upright position after use so that it then occupies less floor space. With a 20" x 58" treadbelt powered by a 3.0 HP continuous duty motor it can sustain speeds of up to 12 mph and has an incline that is adjustable within the range of 0 - 15 deg.

There are six preset workout programs, two customizable programs, and two heart rate programs. A red LED display includes a message board for clear instruction and feedback on your speed, incline, time, distance traveled, calories, pulse, and pace. There is also a 1/4-mile digital track that you can follow as you run and a peak-and-valley graph that corresponds to individual programs.

The console on the F83 has built in speakers which allow you to hook up any MP3 player or iPOD and a large stop switch for safety. There are also twin workout cooling fans built into the console and speed and incline controls on the armrests in addition to the ones on the console.

Heart rate monitoring is taken care off on the F83 by twin sensors on the handgrips and also a "chest strap" that may be worn by the user for wireless telemetry of your heart rate. This treadmill also has the "heart rate control" feature which modulates the workout is response to your heart rate so that you remain in your target heart rate zone.
