When in the sitting, stepper motion mode it offers a natural vertical pedaling movement for an extreme workout on the leg muscles. In the sitting elliptical mode the Smooth V2300 delivers an extended ergonomic stride length making pedaling extremely comfortable. The V2300 has been designed to be very comfortable in use with contoured, padded, seat cushions and an adjustable seat to accomodate users of varying heights. MANUAL WORKOUT: This program allows you to adjust the resistance of the V2300 in order to create your own personalized workout. HILLS & VALLEYS: This program represents a ride over a hilly trail by enticing you to pedal for alternating periods of moderate changes in effort. You are able to select from 18 levels of effort depending upon your present fitness level. FAT BURN: This program teaches you to exercise for longer periods of time at a low intensity level. This type of activity is known to encourage your body to burn more calories and fat. TARGET HEART CONTROL WORKOUT: The aim of this program is to ensure that the user's heart rate is held fairly constant throughout the workout session. The user sets the target heart rate at the start of the workout and the V2300 then modulates the resistance so as to keep the user's heart rate within the the pre-defined target setting. RAMP: This program requires you to pedal for short periods of time and switches between periods of low and very high intensity. RANDOM: This program presents the user with varying, discreet profiles. The user is thus presented with a novel training workout that will both engage and stimulate them.
