Smooth 6.45M Treadmill - this is basically the Smooth 6.45 model but with the added benefit of a sound system to which you can attach your iPOD, MP3 player, or CD player via an auxiliary input jack.

It has a 20" x 60" treadbelt that is powered by a 3.0 HP continuous duty motor. The shock absorption is taken care of by a "swing arm" suspension system that has been designed to reduce the impact of walking and running.

The inbuilt workout programs include: Target Distance, Target Time, Target Calories, Interval Incline, Interval Speed, Weight Loss, 5K Self-Learning/Competition, Heart Rate Control. Additionally there are 3 user defined programs that can be customized.

The interactive LED console allows you to monitor your speed, distance, calories, time and pulse simultaneously, while a speed profile window displays the intensity of every stage of the workout.

To ease any concerns over reliability the Smooth 6.45 Treadmill comes with a Lifetime frame and motor warranty, 5 yrs on all other parts and 2 yrs labor.

The Smooth 6.45M utilizes a powerful 3.0 HP motor. This unit has more power than a regular drive system and is controlled by a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) electronics usually only found on high end commercial treadmills.

This motor is for all practical purposes noise-free. Optical speed sensors and the PWM electronics provide smooth speed changes whilst dual motor fans allows you to exercise for longer periods while maintaining a smooth and consistent operation.

Walking and running are the most natural and enjoyable forms of exercising that you can engage in but the continual pounding can take a toll on your joints. Running on some treadmills can feel like running on concrete.

The Smooth 6.45M incorporates Nine Storable User Profiles. This facility is especially useful in households with multiple users. Up to nine people can save age, weight and target heart rate information for instant access without the need to key in the personal settings of each user each time.

An often underestimated component of an exercise treadmill is the deck. The design and quality of material the deck is made from can radically alter the performance of the treadmill.

The 6.45M is fitted with a Dual-Stage, Soft Drop Folding mechanism. This gas shock-assist lift system allows you to gently tilt the deck into position and wheel it away for storage after use. You can then softly drop it back into place and it's good to go for another workout.

The Smooth 6.45M is underwritten by a Lifetime warranty on the motor and a Lifetime warranty on the frame. There is 5 yrs warranty on all other parts (including electronics) and 2 yrs in home labor.
