ProForm Trailrunner 4.0 - this treadmill is part of ProForm's all new Hi-Tech range for 2011 and is the bigger brother to the Trailrunner 2.0. It is fitted with a huge 60" x 20" belt and boasts a powerful 3.8 CHP Commercial Pro motor. The running deck which can support users up to 350 lbs is supported by a ProTech Advanced Adjustable Cushioning. Perhaps the most unusual feature of the ProForm Trailrunner 4.0 is the iFIT Live technology which connects the treadmill to the internet allowing you to add interest and functionality to your workout. You can manage your profile online and even work out with Jillian Michaels. It should be noted that this requires an internet connection, and the iFIT LIVE module which is sold separately. There is a 10" Color Touch screen display which allows you to get the most from your workout by presenting workout data to you via the hi-tech display. You can navigate through workout stats and options with the swipe of a finger. Quickly view your speed, time, distance, calories burned, pulse and incline on the large, easy-to-read display. The control console has a built-in Intermix Acoustics 3.0 sound system with high-end speakers that can be hooked up to an iPOD or any other MP3 player via the compatible music port with the player in easy reach. Drawing upon the data provided by Google Maps the iFIT Live feature allows you to experience trails all over the globe just as if you were actually running outside. iFIT Live enables you to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, manage your profile online and work out with Jillian Michaels. You can even add the thrill of competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos that are available for download. It should be noted that this feature requires that the user has an internet connection.

The ProForm Trailrunner 4.0 will allow you to adjust the incline between the range of 0 - 15 deg. in 1 deg. increments. Like the Quick Speed feature, the useful Quick Incline system allows you to change the incline of the treadmill by quickly sliding your finger to your desired incline setting.

The ProForm Trailrunner 4.0 has an interesting feature called the "Workout Intensity Control". This feature allows you to adjust the intensity of your workout at any time. If you feel like you aren't working hard enough or would like your workout to be a little easier, simply adjust the intensity and the program will automatically adjust to your desired performance level.
... plug in your iPOD! In order to keep you entertained the Trailrunner 4.0 comes with an Intermix Acoustics 3.0 sound system. Integrated into the treadmill's console, this premium sound system features 3" high-excursion drivers to deliver a crisp, clear sound. The sound system also includes a compatible music port for iPOD. This allows you to plug your iPOD, or MP3 Player, into the Interplay Music Port and listen to your music collection through the sound system.
