… deck cushioning

... back lit display

… heart rate monitor

The treadmill is equipped with a dual-grip heart rate monitor. The built-in precision sensors allow you to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate. Simply grip the built-in sensors to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate, stay within your optimum training zone and burn more fat.

The treadmill is also supplied with a wireless chest strap that transmits your heart rate information to the console without the need to grip the contact sensors when running for example.

... iFIT compatible

This treadmill is iFIT compatible. In essence this is a wireless connection between the Internet and the treadmill. The iFIT feature allows you to experience trails all over the globe just as if you were running outside.

iFIT enables you to customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads, manage your profile online and work out with Jillian Michaels. You can even add the thrill of competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends.

It should be noted that this feature requires a home wireless internet connection, the iFIT module and membership to iFIT.com which is available as an optional extra.

… speed adjustment

The treadmill comes equipped with "QuickSpeed" control. This means that you can easily jump to any speed within the range 0 - 12 MPH with one touch at any time during your workout. You can decrease your speed immediately when you are tired and need a break, or increase it instantly for a challenging burst.

... incline AND decline

In addition to the 15 % of positive inclination that can be adjusted by a simple "Quick control" system the deck is also able to decline to - 3 %.

This feature is usually only found on more expensive treadmills
and has the benefit of activating different muscles by walking at a decline. This is claimed to burn more calories than walking on a flat surface and stimulate more muscle for faster results.

... iPOD connection

The treadmill features a universal iPOD port. You can now enjoy your workout while you play your favorite music through the built-in "Intermix Acoustics 3.0 EQ" sound system. The system delivers improved clarity while reproducing a wide range of audio frequencies. Simply plug in, press play and listen to your favorite sounds while you exercise.

... tablet holder

The tablet holder was designed for use with most full size tablets. The shelf keeps your tablet secure and in close proximity so that you can access any online training tools or entertainment.

... safety key

A safety key and lanyard is provided with the treadmill. In order for the treadmill to be operational the key must be present in the control console. This means that with the key withdrawn the treadmill cannot be operated by unauthorized users such as small children.

The safety key has a lanyard with a small plastic clip attached to one end which can be clipped onto the users clothing. If the user were to accidentally trip or fall while on the treadmill the key is pulled away from the console causing the treadmill's walking belt to slow to a stop.

... fold and store

This is a "space saver" model which means that when not in use the treadmill can be folded into a near upright position where it will then occupy a lot smaller floor area.

The folding mechanism also incorporates an "easy lift" system which uses a hydraulic shock that slowly lowers the deck into place ready for use or assists in raising it to it's stored position.

With the deck raised into its upright "stored" position the deck automatically locks into place.

My wife and i are very happy with our pro 2000. We researched treadmills for days before deciding on this one.

After ordering, the unit was at our house in less than two weeks. Setting up is a two person job, but only took two hrs.

The built in programs are great. Access to the incline/decline and mph buttons is quick and easy.

Nice to be able to workout in the comforts of our home, especially when its cold/wet outside. We highly recommend this treadmill.

I was a member of a gym for awhile and used to the overpriced machines so I thought I wanted one of those other treadmills.

I did a lot of research on different treadmills and one site rated this one their top pick in this price range so I checked many sites to see what other people said and most had good reviews.

My treadmill did take about 3 weeks to be delivered after I ordered it but it was with the wait. I didn't buy the iFit module but maybe will later.

I'm so happy to have a nice and sturdy treadmill and at a great price!!!

I would completely recommend this treadmill to anyone looking to buy one.

This is a great treadmill. I have had it for 6 months and I can't say enough good things about it. My family uses it all the time.

When it arrives at your house you are going to need 2-4 people to move it to where you are going to set it up.

It's a heavy machine (something you want in a good treadmill). You need 2 people to set it up. It would be difficult to do it all yourself.

I'm really enjoying this treadmill.

I really like the speed adjustment buttons on the right side of the screen. Just one touch and the speed adjusts quickly. The incline buttons work in the same way.

I haven't used the programs yet. The fan isn't super strong but helps.

I like the mechanism that controls the lowering of the treadmill from the storage position.

I expect to get many years of use out of this machine.
