ProForm 850T treadmill - is part of ProForm's all new treadmill lineup. This is a Space Saver (Folding) treadmill and is driven by a powerful 2.5 CHP Mach Z Commercial Motor. The spacious (20" x 55") running surface is supported by a ProShox Lite cushioning system. The ProForm 850T comes with an impressive variety of (24) workouts split into three functional groups that automatically adjusts your speed, incline and workout time to meet your fitness or weight loss goals. All of the workout data is presented on a 6" back lit LCD display that shows all relevant workout data. The ProForm 850T is iFIT LIVE compatible. This is a state of the art, interactive, result specific fitness aid. The workouts feature Google Maps, automatic speed and incline controls, and audible coaching, giving you the training you want in the comfort of your own home. Entertainment needs are catered for with an Intermix Acoustics 2.0 EQ sound system producing a rich, equalized sound. It is coupled to a compatible music port for an iPOD or any other MP3 player. The iPOD rests on the console shelf, so that it is within easy reach. Should anything go wrong the ProForm ProForm 850T Treadmill comes with a Lifetime Frame Warranty, 25 Years Motor warranty and 1 Year Parts and Labor warranty.

The ProForm 850T utilizes a powerful 2.5 CHP motor. This Commercial Grade Mach Z Motor employs an internal fan which lessens noise as it cools internal components and extends the motor's life. This design of motor allows you to exercise for greater periods of time, while still providing a smooth and consistent operation.
… run in comfort! Walking and running are the both natural and pleasurable forms of exercise but the disadvantage comes from the continual pounding and the effect this can have on your joints. Running on some treadmills can feel like running on concrete.
The ProForm 850T, however, uses ProShox Lite Cushioning. This system compresses underfoot with each step, responding evenly to your stride and offering a truly comfortable workout.
...built-in workouts! In order to stay motivated when using a treadmill and achieve your fitness goals it is important to have a good selection of preset workout programs. The ProForm 850T has a total of 24 workouts divided into three functional groups.
These three functional groups consist of the following: 8 Calorie Workouts that have been designed by a certified personal trainer, to help you burn calories and lose weight with a choice between 200-700 calorie-burning workouts. For a more accurate calorie count there is the facility to input your weight information. 8 Timed Workouts that have been designed by a certified personal trainer and that automatically adjusts your speed and incline to acheive your goals. You can select between 20 - 60 minute workout times. 8 Distance Workouts that have been designed by a certified personal trainer. These workouts offer training programs for specific distance races and automatically adjusts your speed and incline to match the workout. You can choose from 1-mile, 2-mile, 3K, 5K, 5-mile, half marathon or marathon distances.

The ProForm 850T is iFIT LIVE compatible. This advanced fitness technology in essence connects your treadmill to the internet and delivers interactive and results orientated fitness experiences. You can select weight-loss, performance or wellness goals and listen as
Jillian Michaels coaches you through your program. Each workout is downloaded wirelessly to your console and workouts can feature Google Maps, automatic speed and incline controls, plus audible coaching. With iFIT LIVE you can get the training you want in the comfort of your own home. It should be noted, however, that this feature requires the iFit LIVE Module which is sold separately.

The ProForm 850T comes equipped with "QuickSpeed" control. This means that you can easily jump to any speed within the range 0 - 12 MPH with one touch at any time during your workout. You can decrease your speed immediately when you are tired and need a break, or increase it instantly for a challenging burst.
… instant incline control! The ProForm 850T is fitted with a "Quick Incline" control. This allows you to electronically change the degree of slope up or down throughout your workout from the control panel. The slope of the incline can be adjusted within the range 0 -12 deg. You can simulate running uphill and add both challenge and variety to your exercise session.
… check your pulse! The ProForm 850T is equipped with a Dual-Grip Heart Rate Monitor. The built-in precision sensors allow you to quickly monitor your heart rate. Simply grip the built-in sensors to quickly and accurately monitor your heart rate, stay within your optimum training zone and burn more fat.

If you are concerned that you haven't enough room to store a treadmill the ProForm ProForm 850T addresses this problem with it's "Space saver" technology. This facility allows you to fold the treadmill into an upright position after your workout where it will then occupy a lot smaller floor area.

The ProForm 850T is underwritten by a Lifetime Warranty on the Frame, 25 yrs on the Motor, and 1 Year Parts and Labor Warranty. Additionally the manufacturer states that if you register your product you can add another full year of protection to the 1 year Parts & Labor Warranty.
