NordicTrack X9i Incline Trainer - this is the flagship model in NordicTrack's range of incline trainers and with a 62" tread belt has a longer running surface than on many conventional treadmills. The X9i has many amazing features including an iFIT Tablet and associated Android powered web browser. This allows the user to check their email, surf the web or keep up with their social networking activities. The tablet has a touch screen interface enabling the user to navigate menus or pull up workout data with a swipe of a finger. Another benefit of this tread climber is the integration of iFIT LIVE technology which using Google Maps allows the user to recreate any route in the world in addition to downloading additional workouts and training with Jillian Michaels!

The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X9i utilizes a DurX 3.0 CHP Commercial Plus Motor. This motor has been designed to deliver smooth, quiet performance during the most vigorous workout. The motor employs an internal cooling system, has ample power and is very responsive to whatever demands are placed upon it. This makes it especially suitable to interval training or hill climbs.
... iFIT (Android powered) Tablet! The NordicTrack Incline Trainer X9i features an iFIT Tablet screen with an Android powered web browser. This innovative feature brings the whole treadmill experience bang up to date by enabling the user to get online while indulging in an exhilarating workout. The iFIT Tablet comprises of a 10" full color touch screen incorporating an Android based web browser. The NordicTrack X9i Incline Trainer features the exciting iFIT LIVE Technology. This consists essentially of a wireless internet connection between the Internet and the X9i. Using Google Maps, iFit LIVE allows you to experience trails all over the world and watch your progress on the color display map.
To further enhance your hiking experience, iFit LIVE automatically adjusts your incline to simulate the physical features of the terrain. You can work out with Jillian Michaels, customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads and manage your profile online. You are also able to add competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other exciting features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos available for download. It should be noted that a wireless internet network connection is required in order to use this feature.

This specially developed cushioning increases workout comfort, while keeping your joints protected from the rigors of exercise. Most cushioning systems use a single isolator in the middle of the deck to absorb impact. The Reflex cushioning system, however, suspends nearly the whole of the deck between two isolators. This allows it to absorb more impact at heel-strike, while maintaining stability at toe-off.

By wearing the supplied wireless chest strap the user is able to monitor their heart rate continually during their workout without having to hold the hand grips.

I have only had mine for a few days but I absolutely love it already. The browser is very quick and smooth. My favorite part is being able to walk anywhere I want in the world. And you can save you favorite "walks" and it'll show you your current position, the position of your best run and your average position. It is much more motivating than I ever imagined these little details would be. It's not the quietest treadmill in the world (although that may just be due to my poor construction skills) but it's not so loud that it's a nuisance. All in all I am just loving this thing and, as of yet, am actually excited to get on it every day.
