NordicTrack T7.0 - this is the NEW for 2012 version of the T7.0 treadmill from NordicTrack. The T 7.0 is a Space Saver treadmill which means that after use it can be folded up into a near vertical position so as to take up less storage space. The T7.0 treadmill benefits from a spacious running surface with a 20" x 58" tread belt and incorporates the new "DuraFlex" cushioning system. It is powered by a 2.75 CHP DurX Commercial motor. The NordicTrack T7.0 is iFIT Live compatible. This technology connects to the internet allowing you to add interest and functionality to your workout. You can recreate routes on GoogleMaps and even work out with Jillian Michaels. It should be noted that this requires the iFIT LIVE wireless adapter which is sold separately. The console incorporates a large, 6" backlit display. With a wide viewing angle you can easily track your total workout progress. …commercial drive system! The NordicTrack T7.0 treadmill utilizes a 2.75 CHP DurX Commercial grade motor. This unit is claimed to be both quiet and smooth in operation and has enough power to satisfy the most demanding user. The motor has been developed to cope with long duration workouts while the associated drive system incorporates noise reduction and cooling elements as part of its design criterion.
...large backlit display! The NordicTrack T7.0 console has a large (6 inch), backlit display that shows all your essential workout data including: speed, time, distance, pulse and calories burned. The screen has a wide viewing angle making it easy to track your performance during your workout.

The NordicTrack T7.0 has heart rate sensors built into the handlebars which monitor your pulse and display the live reading on the console display, helping you to stay within your target zone.
Additionally the T7.0 is compatible with a wireless chest strap which enables your pulse rate to be monitored continually without having to touch the handlebars. It should be noted, however, that the chest strap is not supplied and has to be purchased as an optional extra. … advanced cushioning! The NordicTrack T7.0 also uses the 1-Touch control technology in order to change the incline with the single touch of a button instead of tediously scrolling through options as you would with traditional incline controls. The incline can be adjusted between 0 deg. up to 12 deg. ... don't lose your cool! The NordicTrack T7.0 comes equipped with an "CoolAire" workout fan. This console mounted fan has two speed settings so that you can regulate the air stream to your preference. This console mounted fan will help you to stay cool and comfortable during your workout.

If you are concerned that you haven't enough room to store an exercise treadmill the NordicTrack T7.0 addresses this problem with it's "Space saver" technology. This is my first treadmill. Was riding my bicycle all summer and needed an alternative for winter. Rather than install in my condo placed in my Storage room. Perfect! Is out of the way fits perfectly, did however have to remove storage room door to slide inside. Built this myself with a neighbor, took approximately 3 hours at comfortable pace and was very easy to do, and all this never been done before. Included instructions are very easy to follow. The treadmill itself having used now three times is awesome, very sturdy, responsive, intuitive, a good workout. The one complaint I have is the motorized fan stinks, smells of manu-plastic. Hope this clears? And since this is my first treadmill I do have questions as far as: Does this need to be lubricated out of the box? Does this need to be "tuned" out of the box? I will probably sign up for the 3 year maint plan? Everybody is telling me these machines are like cars, and do require it? I do not have the Ifit Live... maybe someday. Will see. So far so good, very satisfied. Will see how customer service/support comes into play and their responsiveness. Thank you for reading good luck to you and your choice.
