NordicTrack T8.0 - this treadmill is part of NordicTrack's new range for 2011. The T 8.0 is a Space Saver treadmill which means that it can be folded up to take up less storage space. It benefits from a huge running surface with a 20" x 60" Commercial Grade Tread belt and incorporates the new "DuraStride" cushioning system. It is powered by a 3.0 CHP Commercial DurX Commercial motor. The NordicTrack T 8.0 uses the iFIT Live technology to connect the treadmill to the internet allowing you to add interest and functionality to your workout. You can manage your profile online and even work out with Jillian Michaels. It should be noted that this requires an internet connection, and the iFIT LIVE wireless adapter which is sold separately. The console incorporates a Multi Window LED Display. This oversized, easy-to-read display tracks your speed, time, distance, incline, pulse and calories burned so that you can monitor essential workout data throughout your exercise session.
Built-in to the console is an adjustable CoolAire Workout Fan to keep you comfortable during your workout.The console also features an Intermix Acoustics 2.0 sound system with a compatible Music port which can be hooked up to an iPOD. …commercial pro motor! The NordicTrack T 8.0 treadmill utilizes a 3.0 CHP DurX Commercial Pro Motor. This motor uses preventative engineering in order to keep you safer. This includes the use of high-grade wiring and insulation ratings, a thermal cut-off switch and a stringent UL certification process. The DurX Commercial Pro Motor is also dynamically spin-balanced and rigorously tested for matchless performance in vibration and noise, making it both smooth and quiet in operation.
...iFIT Live! The NordicTrack T 8.0 is iFIT Live capable. In essence this is a wireless connection between the Internet and the treadmill. Featuring workouts Powered by Google Maps, training with Jillian Michaels and automatic speed and incline controls, this wireless technology is the ultimate workout experience! Now you can customize your own fitness program, receive automatic workout downloads and manage your profile online. In addition to the contact grip heart rate monitor built into the handlebars the NordicTrack T 8.0 is also equipped with wireless heart rate telemetry. The Polar heart monitor transmits data from the wireless chest strap to the treadmill's computer so that you have continual feedback.
