The NordicTrack Reflex TR treadmill utilizes a DurX 3.5 CHP Motor. This is a commercial-grade motor that includes high-grade wiring and insulation ratings, and a thermal cut-off switch. It uses commercial bearings and brushes, and is dynamically spin-balanced and extensively tested for superior performance in vibration and noise to make it both smooth and quiet in operation.

As the name suggests the Reflex TR utilizes NordicTracks' legendary "Reflex" cushioning system. The main component of this is the deck which is made of a composite construction and is able absorb impact shocks without sacrificing durability.

The deck has been designed to be both strong and flexible so that it responds to your movement, absorbing impact at the heel and maintaining stability at toe off.
