Nordic Track Treadmill Reviews
Nordic Track Treadmills - made by fitness giants Icon Health &
Fitness, the worlds largest manufacturer of exercise equipment
who are responsible for HealthRider, ProForm, Reebok and Weslo
brands also make Nordic Track exercise treadmills.
Consistent across the entire range of Nordic Track treadmills is
a generous sized running deck/belt, good cushioning and well designed console displays.
These are the exercise treadmills that we recommend from the Nordic Track range:

The iFit facility is available on all models.
iFit allows you to connect your machine to the internet via a computer
and download new fitness programs direct to the exercise treadmill for an additional
fee.
CardioGrip: heart rate monitor activated by gripping the
pulse sensors built into the hand rails. Available on all models
and comes with pulse driven fitness programs that respond to and maintain
your target heart rate. Not as reliable as a chest strap monitor
but more tidy.
Nordic Track treadmills are feature filled. For example,
they offer a funing deck, which uses what they call a "Reflex Deck
Technology". In layman terms, it means that the deck flattens to
absorb the impact when you step down, and then returns to its original
shape by springing back.
It's a very comfortable exercise treadmill to run on, but won't necessarily
duplicate the demands of a track or road, if that's what you're
aiming for.
The electronic consoles, on a Nordic Track are similiar to what
you would find on a treadmill in a gym. Lots of readouts and fitness programs available.
A good indication of the quality of any exercise treadmill (and indeed any
piece of fitness equipment) is the duration of the warranty.
NordicTrack treadmills have what is called a "3-2-1 warranty" which
covers the motor for three years, the frame and other parts for
two years and all labor charges for one year.
