Fuel FT96 Treadmill - has similar overall specifications to it's sister model the FT 94 but benefits from a larger motor (2.5 HP Continuous Duty) and a longer (58") running surface. The FT96 also adds the benefit of heart rate control using wireless telemetry via an inbuilt receiver and a chest strap which is supplied.
The console has built in speakers and a system that allows for the connection of an MP3 player so that you can enjoy your favorite music during your workout and twin workout fans to keep you cool. The Fuel Fitness FT96 has 5 built-in workout programs enabling you to focus on aerobic, weight loss or performance goals. There are also 2 user defined workouts that can be customized by the user and 2 heart rate control programs. … the power to drive you forward! The Fuel Fitness FT96 utilizes a powerful High output 2.5 HP Continuous Duty motor which powers the tread belt at speeds from 0.8 up to 10 mph for running or walking.
… you have control! The Fuel Fitness 96 comes equipped with 10 "one touch" buttons that control both the speed and incline of this treadmill. This feature allows to jump to any speed with one touch at any time during your workout. You can decrease your speed immediately when you need a rest, or increase it instantly for a challenging workout.

The Fuel FT96 has a powered incline that has 12 different levels of adjustment from 0 through to 12. A series of "one touch" control buttons allows you to electronically change the degree of slope up or down throughout your workout from the control panel. You can simulate running uphill and add variety to your exercise session.
...check your metrics! The console on the Fuel Fitness FT96 treadmill houses a vibrant blue backlit display screen that is larger than the display found on the FT94. It is easy to read and gives you an accurate representation of all your workout data.

… let your heart take control! The Fuel FT 94 comes equipped with "wireless heart rate control". When using one of the HRC (heart rate control) programs the treadmill's computer will monitor your hear rate via the wireless chest strap transmitter (supplied). It will then alter the incline settings automatically so that your heart rate is always in the correct "target zone" and you are achieving the maximum cardio vasculour benefits from your workout.

This means that when you have finished your workout the running deck can be raised into an upright position so that he treadmill then occupies a much smaller floor area. The folding mechanism is fitted with "shock assist" to make lifting the running deck relatively easy.

Summary: The Fuel Fitness FT96 is a space saver (folding) treadmill that has a 20" x 58" belt that is powered by a 2.5 HP continuous duty motor. There is also an "add on" motor that looks after the elevation of the running deck and takes the load of the main motor each time you adjust the incline of the deck. There are 5 preset workout programs to assist you in your aerobic, weight loss or performance goals. There are 2 user defined programs that can be customized by the user to their liking. Additionally there are 2 HRC (heart rate control) programs. There is a heart rate monitor facility that monitors pulse readings taken from sensors in the hand grips and shows your hear rate reading on the bright blue display screen in addition to other workout data. The FT96 treadmill is equipped with "heart rate control". This feature monitors your heart rate via the wireless chest strap (supplied) and then uses this information in order to modulate the speed of the treadmill so that your heart rate remains within the "target zone". The console has built in speakers that can be connected to an MP3 player so that you can listen to music.
